Chasing The American Dream

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

Posted by PicasaPicture courtesy of JDate

I know I’ve touched on this subject of online pictures before, but bear with me. Do you know what the trouble with online dating is? Here are two reasons. One, you’ve seen the picture above. Below is the profile associated with said picture. Is the profile real? Is it fake? Is the picture real? Who the hell knows, but what’s the point anyway? The second reason? Single men in my area have made Little Miss Tickle the most popular woman on JDate between the ages of 28-40. What does that say about the intelligence of us guys? Yeah, it’s a sad state of affairs. I’ve been off JDate for six months and just signed up again for a month. I see I haven’t missed anything. It’s time to cancel.

ARE YOU TICKLISH? As crazy as this may sound, I have an intense tickling fetish. I LOVE TO TICKLE!! Let me know all of your ticklish spots.

UserName: LoveToTickle
Age: 28
Hair Color: Brown
Height: 5' 7" (170cm)
Body Style: Firm &Toned
Eye Color: Blue
Weight: 114 pounds (51.0 kg)
Job Description: Lawyer

Perfect Match

Since I have a fetish for tickling, I am definitely searching for a guy who is extremely, horribly, torturously, intensely ticklish. Tell me ALL of your ticklish spots (feet, ribs, stomach, armpits) and how ticklish each spot is. Also, describe the worst time you've ever been tickled and how you would react if I were to tie you down and tickle you mercilessly.

Ideal Relationship

Of course, there would be a lot of tickling (some playful, some serious). I am looking for someone to "hang out" with, to get to know, to have serious as well as fun times, and let's see where it goes.

Perfect First Date

Spending time with a guy, letting hours pass by but not realizing that hours have passed by; enjoying each other and becoming intoxicated by each others' stories, experiences, words, hopes, and dreams; finding out that he is too ticklish for his own good. Yummy!!

My ideal match would be

Desired Age Range: 18 to 45

  • :D @ Allison. Hee, hee.

It may be weird, but....my very first thought when I saw that picture was "Hmmm, that jawline... I dunno, looks manly."
Yes, weird, but I just got a gut instinct that Tickle girl is a Tickle guy. And considering the area (SoFla) that would so not be a stretch.

  • Call Glamour Shots - that was a good one.

I did the online dating for a brief period. It led me to a small relationship - but the guy turned into a stalker. I also was able to meet several good guy friends who are now some of my best friends.

  • Personally I just kind of am weirded out by the whole concept of an online date service. It's too easy to pretend to be someone you're not.

And a lawyer who can't think of anything more intelligent to make her ENTIRE FREAKING PROFILE about?

And tell me, what is "serious" tickling?

  • Hmmm...I pretty fickle with my tickle... prefering to use a pickle.

  • I wouldn't be surprised to find that it's some sort of escort service thing. And yes, online dating is all about what the other person looks like (or, at least, that's been my experience) which is not so very different from dating offline, come to think of it.

  • picture/jaw line is more than just a tad bit sketchy!! and I don't understand the mentality behind "serious tickling"
glad that you aren't one of the saps being sucked in by TICKLE MONSTER!
    Yours,
    Miss Ryder! :)

  • she looks like a drag queen! this cannot be real...but the sad thing is that it probably is...

  • personally plantation, i find tickle girls write up less offensive than stephanie kleins blog, who is by far the most self absorbed ego maniac i have ever seen (or read, as the case might be).

Steph wonders why people post nasty comments to her, and i know you like her so i apologize, but its because she is quite possibly the biggest asshole many people have ever met (in a virtual sense).

you seem like a nice guy, who is quite well grounded, has a good heart, and keeps his ego in check, so i guess i have never been able to figure out your fascination/admiration of her.

but i enjoy reading your blog, and wish you the best.

  • Thanks Mt Laurel. I guess to know her is to meet her. I've met her and she's nice, very funny, smart, and attractive, too. Whether you like her lifestyle or not, her writing is, in my view, sensational. So what's not to like? Thanks for your continued reading. I appreciate it.

  • this is soooooooooo weird. What kind of a freaky girl is this? A lawyer with absolutely nothing better to talk about than her strange tickling fetish? Showing her ancient glamor shot photo? Weird weird weird. I don't think it can be real at all.

Well, thanks for the laugh anyway :)

  • Her writing is sensational? Hopefully there's more that you haven't shared with us that helps her qualify as sensational, because this isn't that impressive, IMHO.

  • E, we're talking about Greek Tragedy here not Miss Tickle. Or did you already know that?

  • Are you sure this is jdate and not AFF? Yikes!

  • pathetic....perhaps checking out a singles group at your local synagogue or getting involved in a volunteer organization may be more productive avenues to explore

  • hehe.. hey plantation. yes, small world. :)

  • creepy. i HATE being tickled.
once hooked up with a guy who thought it was erotic. that relationship ended quickly.

By Blogger Lyss, at 5:35 PM, August 01, 2005

  • a lawyer with a tickle fetish?

By Blogger slow poke kate, at 6:04 AM, August 03, 2005

  • The vast majority of people who are online are there for a reason. Their idea of a relationship is Mr. or Ms. Right Now vs. Mr. or Ms. Right and they don't know the difference. The problem gets accentuated in a smaller size community like JDate where the turnover is not like it is on the larger sites.
