LOVELY RITA

Here we go again. The hurricane watches are already up. Incredible.

P.S. Sorry, I had to add word verification to keep spammers away.

  • Imagine that...and they still want to live there. I read that the prices of property are sky rocketing. It's craziness.

  • I cannot believe it is happening again? I just heard on the news here in the UK. How frightening. Please be safe.

  • All's fine here, thank you everyone. The storm moved South and basically hit the Keys. Just a bunch of wind and rain here. I now fear for my blogging friends in Houston. ESSF, Thomas, Sassy, and anyone else I left off, please take precaution and be safe. Rita's gonna be a Cat 4 when she arrives.

  • Glad to hear you are safe and sound, my friend. I know how this all works-I have a lot of family in the greater Miami-Dade areas, and they tell us how the whole hurricane thing works. I live in the Pacific NW, and we get the equivalent of your tropical storms about every other week in the winter time, and really strong winds(around hurricane force) usually about 2 our of every 10 storms. But the rain is cold, so at least there it is warm.

Keep safe my friend-I hope that this finds you well. Did you go through Andrew?
