Totally wish I could be your +1.

  • Are the Sarah and Alanis shows in New York?

By Anonymous Esther, at 12:15 PM, April 26, 2005

  • I've got two within one week. Both are in Wash. D.C. so I'm travelling, but they're well worth it.

    1. Kraftwerk
    2. Interpol

Have fun. BTW, just treated myself to the super-duper Ipod which holds 8 Billion songs and pictures. It's fabulous. I've dumped everything I own, plus a shitload of Motown and Jazz and Blues from my friends. I'm loving the IPOD, man! Loving it!!

  • Ah... Alanis... always reminds me of my teenage angst years :)

  • I'd totally go to the Sarah concert with you. Oh, wait, you wanted someone hot to accompany you? Darnit, foiled again! :-)

  • I would love to be able to see Snow Patrol. They were just here and played at Buzzfest and some friends I know that went and saw them said they were great! Have fun.

  • If your "babe" search doesn't work out, don't forget you have lots of friends!

  • Hi Todd!

Unfortunately Sarah grates on my very last nerve and sitting through a concert of hers would most definitely result in being put in a padded room or on some heavy psychotics!

Howevah, if I lived nearby, I'd go to see Alanis with you. I just love listening to female angst. She reminds me of a once younger, angrier verson of meself.

By Blogger Bubbles, Ink., at 8:47 PM, April 29, 2005

  • Ha! (ok so I'm behind on your blog!).....

I just picked up 4 McCartney tickets....I'm SO stoked (ok now I'm showing my age).

My 17 y/o daughter thinks he's such a 'has-been' and should retire before we're all embarassed. :) Ahhh, the youth of today just doesn't understand the Beetles.

Plus, why the 'h-e-double toothpicks' would someone 'go out' when the Pavilion sells OUT in 1 hour?? Noooo, Mr McCartney graciously added another concert the next night (well, I guess gracious would mean he paid us, huh??) - anyhow, I now get to go!

But have to remain calm since it's not happening until Nov.... :)

  • I'm sorry but I just HAVE to chime in:

    The Beetles? The Beetles? Ugh!

  • have you looked into going to the Austin City Limits Festival in September? You seem like the type of person who'd enjoy that...

it's amazing. just look at the lineup.

  • Hey LX, did you know that the lead singer for Reindeer Section is the same as Snow Patrol? Yup, Gary Lightbody. I knew there was a reason why they sounded so eerily familiar.

Amy, I went to the site. Wow, what a lineup! One of these days, I will have to visit for the festival. Have u ever been?

By Blogger Plantation, at 1:15 AM, May 23, 2005

  • I hope that you enjoyed yourself tonight and all the other nights you get to enjoy what will probably be some fantastic concerts. Take care!

By Blogger Ash, at 2:19 AM, May 23, 2005

  • I'm making my first ever trip to the festival this fall. I'm extremely excited about it, too. I'm also going to see Ben Folds/Rufus Wainwright in Tulsa, OK in August. That should also be amazing.

By Anonymous Amy, at 4:37 PM, May 23, 2005

  • Wow Amy. Jealous here. AND Ben Folds? Awesome.
